The FRWC has partnered with The Disability Network and the Genesee County Parks to provide Inclusive Kayaking workshops! This program, under the direction of a Certified Adaptive Paddle Instructor and a Certified Recreational Therapist, will introduce people with disabilities and their families to the wonderful sport of kayaking on beautiful Mott Lake. Equipment training and 1:1 support included! This program has a $20 suggested donation. If this donation is a barrier to participating, use the promo code freekayak to waive this fee. The iKayak program is for ages 13 and up.

Mindfulness iKayaking:
Mindfulness is a basic human capacity that everyone can cultivate to support health, humanity and performance. Mindfulness supports health and well-being for all. Learn mindfulness practices while experiencing nature right here in your own backyard by kayaking local waterways!
This event is part of the iKayak program and provides an opportunity those with disabilities and seniors to participate in Mindfulness adaptive kayaking. There will be a 1:1 ratio of trained staff to participants. Equipment and staff support included!
