2024 Guided Paddle Schedule
This list includes our iKayak workshops as well as our Pedal to Paddles and Open Paddles on Flint Park Lake.
Due to ongoing in-river construction and several recent spills near Utah Dam, all activities have been moved to areas unaffected by the spill; upstream of Stepping Stone Falls, downstream starting at River Road in Flushing, or to local lakes. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Invasive Species Paddles
Join the Flint River Watershed Coalition and the Genesee Conservation District for our invasive species guided paddles. The coordinator for the GiLLS CISMA (Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area) will be joining our trip to provide some information on what invasive species are, why they are a problem, what you can do to help stop their spread, and lots of other interesting information as well as how to identify some of the common invasive species in our watershed. We look forward to having you join us for a fun float as we chat about some of the insidious invaders in our area!
Pedal to Paddles involve twice the fun! For those wishing to participate in both biking and kayaking, we will meet at 9:30 at the listed location and bike from where we have parked to our launch location. Once at the launch, we will kayak back to our vehicles. For those who wish to only bike OR kayak, that works too! Just let me know so we can let you know when to meet us if you are only kayaking.
What are Paddles of Tranquility?
Tranquility is the quality or state of being tranquil; that is, calm, serene, and worry-free. Learn peace of mind practices while experiencing nature right here in our own backyard by kayaking local waterways!
